Tips for our wine and gastronomy tour.

Luggage. We highly recommend not bringing to Spain more than 1 large + 1 small bag (hand luggage) per person, because porterage service is not included by default. The reason for this is that even in many superior four star hotels in Spain this service is not possible to organize for groups. So if you bring an extensive luggage it might be an hussle for you to carry them. From our side, the driver and tour leader will always help to load and unload them into the bus. Obviously, should you decide to leave Spain with more luggage, than arrive (presents!) - feel free to do so.

Weather. May thru September is considered a high season in northern Spain. However, this part of the country is traditionally cooler, fresh and a bit more windy and rainy compared to Southern Spain (that's how they grow the best grape!). Average temperature in San Sebastian hitting 72F during the summer, 78F - in La Rioja and Barcelona, and around 83F in Madrid.

Tipping. Tips are included in the price. We didn't want you to be confused, because there will be many people who will help us on the way: local guides, waiters, winery guides etc. To make life easier for everybody, we'll pay the tips, you don't have to worry about it. However, if you feel that you liked certain service so much that you want to tip someone personally - sure, no problem at all.

Q. What if I want to arrive in Barcelona earlier and leave from Madrid later?
A. You are very welcome to do so. Just let us know and we'll help you out by booking extra nights in the hotel.

Q. I am vegetarian/vegan or allergic to certain food. Is there a problem?
A. Not at all. Just please inform us about it before the trip and we'll make arrangements with restaurants.

Q. What is a legal drinking age in Spain?
A. Legal drinking age in Spain is 18 years old. 

Q. Does the tour price include all the taxes? Any extra charges along the way?
A. All taxes  - VAT and special tourist tax in the hotels are always included in the tour price. You will never be asked to pay anything else for services provided for all services mentioned as ''included''.
